Apoc in XP

Brattern

Recommended Posts

It's not much, but it just might help...

Go to your apoc .exe file, rightclick on it, properties. From there choose the tabpage 'Compatibility', and there choose: 'Run this program in compatibility mode for: Windows 98' (try win95 too).

I solved more than one problem this way, not for apoc though...

I've got the same problem as Brattern with this game, and the compatibility doesn't help. At least not for me.

I had a problem with the audio in the intro as well, but VDMsound helped with that. I haven't really been trying to get it to work a lot since then, so still no solution.

i've downloaded vdmsound and installed it but nothing happened ;) .

my problem isn't really the intro(it is choppy but i don't care) but it is after the intro is finished i've got trouble, right after it has finished the game crashes. i can't even get the menu :D

i got win xp, xp7000+, 512 ddr ram and nvidia geforce 2 Ti.

could it be any conflicts with my hardware & the game???

this week i got X-COM 1 & 2 working but i want to play X-COM Apocalypse.

i'm in great need of help, so please help me :alien2:
