Murder makes profit When a mission briefing tells you to eliminate hostiles whilst maintainingminimum casualties among locals, it's time to slap your thighs and start square dancing. Because you are about to get some free stuff, incredibly helpful early game when you have the ability to make ammo, but not guns, and late game for getting some tricked out gunz. In order to complete the mission only one friendly soldier needs to survive. Killed all the enemies and there are six of those friendly guys left alive. Be a shame if something happened to say five of those sweet lads, at least we get to scavenge their weapons and equipment, they'll no longer need it.
Developer Interview number one. Game Looks good, doubt ill find it better than the aftermath series, but heres hoping nvm just say the other topic, with lots of info
Also waht might be cool, is too later in the game be able to outfit your soldiers with awesome nanotechnology, imagine one of your guys walking up to an enemy lifting him up and tossing him 50 feet into a truck, then hes shot in the leg by an enemy riflr, his skin bone and muscle are instantly regenrrated by nano tech, now you really can have supersoldiers, without the didgy sense that you should have some of these guys dieing when there shot several times in the face.
Very simply, Take over more mines to get more resources, your going to need a lot of mines, and tahts means you need a huge terrotiry, jsut keep capturing and building. Don't forget to build lots of terraforming stations as this will make it easier for you when you expand far from your base, as the enviroment gets more hostile the further away you are from it. Reserarch Warehouse Technology, and Advanced mining tech (near to the end of the research tree) to get maximum resources, and produce prowerful armours and weapons. A little tip, make sure you spread out in all directions from your base, if you palyed before try and remember where those good mines are and work your way towards them as quick as you can. You can make life easier on yourself by ignoring the mission where the beastmen first appear for a day or two, try and get more terrortiries captured.
Doesnt that addiction to souls in nwn2:mob jsut annoy the hell out of you, if i wanted to be an addict i'd take crack. Id rather play through an interesting story line, trying out epic level characters, and not worrying out overdosing on sipirits and going cold turkey in the middle of the fight. Bit of a let down.
no thats not necessary, its very likely taht a single beastman or worm or something is jsut being a jerk and hiding under a rock. Happened to me before, very annoying. At this point jsut split up your squad and send them ziagging in every possible direction gcecking every possible rock and corner for an annoying camping enemy, once you find it shoot it, done. If your having trouble locating the last enemy, try using one of the many dectetion devices your techs can use, can be helpful. If all fails just start the game again, hopefully you wont run into an annoying cat and mouse mission like taht
You should have been more patient: Unlocking research: Beastman: Capture any beastman to unlock the next interrogation research Maritan: Visit the all the excavation sites, eventually after collecting ,lots of artifacts you'll be able to research the awesome emp and plasma weapons. After you have researched everything, work on terraforming the globe, building these cool new items, and wiping out the main base of all your enemies. I don't know if you have to wipe out everyone or jsut the beastmen, really couldnt be bothered to complete the game when i last got to that point, maybe i will opn my current game, altrhough the mod im running jsut annoys me, too many enemies.
if you have a beastamn interrogation research need jsut perform any capture mission, it really doesnt matter which beastamn you capture, it counts as the next interrogation
Personally what i would like in a wish list, is a 2 parter. Some form of human spaceship game this is waht i cam e up with ages ago. Basically your on an attack vessel that has left the solar system on a missiopn to attack back at the wargot or the reticulans or whatever, the first part of the game starts like this a group of cultists have invaded the ship, they were hiding in the cargo bays, they have taken over key sections of the ship. You have to take back the key sections in true ufo country conquering style, once there all under control you have to resume course for the alien homeworls, q-gate what ever, aliong the way you'll have time to research and produce some techs and equipment. When you arrive you have to assualt a country and make your home base thier, build buildings kill off the inhabitants and colonise the planet, mayube you'll need to terraform it too. the game could be extended into several games or one long one by having to conquer several planets. One change to the normal gameplay id like to see is to be able to have your soldiers ride around in a jeep ior tank which you have to research and oufit, this would mean that the maps could be made in two stages imagine a driveway filled with aliens and vechiles, and they a office block filled with campig aliens, you use the tank/jeeep/tuck/gunship to get there, then you hopoff and rush in and blast everyone.
well i think the next game in the series should be based around transport vechiles., and by that i mean, you have a jeep or something filled with your squad including a driver and some guners, who operate the vechile and its machine guns, and you cruise around enlarged tactical maps, shooting everything up and then storm a skyscraper on foot. Could have the vechiles upgradable too, and change to better vechiles later on such as jeep > truck > tank > Hovertank > Gunship. Would be fun.
