September 1, 201213 yr Author Borderlands 2 spammage to go first apparently *grunt*, but XCOM will follow, as detailed below: - Borderlands 2 Gameplay (360)- XCOM: Enemy Unknown panel live from the Pegasus Theater!- XCOM: Enemy Unknown Multiplayer (360)- XCOM: Enemy Unknown: Terror Mission on Impossible (PC) :: *grumble, grumble*
September 1, 201213 yr When did they say XCOM will be ? Either I've heard in 3 hours or at 3 o'clock. Sorry I am playing SotS2 and listening to them.
September 1, 201213 yr Author XCOM will likely be on in about half an hour - not gameplay initially, but Jake Solomon will be on that panel they spoke about to talk about the game's development process, and all they did to chip away at it until they "got it right".
September 1, 201213 yr What is life without the little mysteries? Right we all know you are Etheral trying to infiltrate our ranks, you mind controlled Pete and you are scheming your world domination by being very friendly Chief Editor at X-Com headquarters
September 1, 201213 yr Author Fortunately for you Pete is a cooperating subject or I would have to resort to brainsuckers! :: XCOM coming up now!
September 1, 201213 yr Author I see you almost got luckly there, silencer - almost got them with the personal armour question when they were checking the chat pane... :: Maybe you'll get lucky next time.
September 1, 201213 yr Multiplayer sure is looking great, not a bad idea if it manages to become an eSport. Terror missions on imposible sure seem like a challange for the most experienced only. On that note, it seems you can change difficulty at any time during the game. I need to add that to the Q&A to get a comfirmation.
September 1, 201213 yr Yes - they said you can change during the game - but if you do it in battle you will get number of enemies that were suppose to be on that level. They even showed it today and yesterday.
September 2, 201213 yr Author Just for reference here's the link for yesterday's live session. :: Looking forward to today's grand finale!
September 2, 201213 yr Author Right, so the stream will begin in about 20 minutes _and_ it will start off with some more XCOM multiplayer action!
September 2, 201213 yr Author Right, here's a rough idea of what will be going on today: - XCOM: EU multiplayer (with Jake Solomon vs. Amazon)- some Borderlands 2 gameplay + dev. Q&A- then more XCOM! :: Also, the promised system specs will finally be revealed.
September 2, 201213 yr Author As you may have noticed, Greg did confirm live that the Special Edition would come to the UK, so Amazon will definitely have it for you. :: Relax - it's just a little over a month now before you can actually play...
September 2, 201213 yr Author Some sports title next, but it has been confirmed more XCOM will follow folks!
September 2, 201213 yr Author And here we go - back to XCOM now, probably for the last time this PAX!
September 2, 201213 yr Author Well, we finally got the specs for the game and they're plenty reasonable I would say. :: Also good to see Impossible being... on the impossible side.
September 2, 201213 yr It's now surprising that there is not one type of aliens in missions, so it's not like - eh Floaters - bring it on. The specs are reasonable because it is Unreal Engine as Pete mentioned in his "advertisement post" and this is pretty old engine.
September 3, 201213 yr The requirements aren't really surprising. It's the same 5-ish year old mainstream multi-platform standard, though a bit lower than that since Firaxis traditionally makes more accessible games, reqs-wise.
September 3, 201213 yr Author Simply for the sake of completion: if anyone missed out on yesterday's live stream, here's the link to the entire thing.
September 5, 201213 yr Yey - finally SE edition showed up. For you out there in UK I found it at game.co.uk for 40 pounds. But what is more Cenega's online shop Muve has it so yeah. I would prefer other shop here in Poland but I can't be picky now can I.
