Just started playing Apoc again after a few years of it gathering dust, and although I admit it is a great game and superior in many ways to XCOM and TFTD, I remember now what I didn't like about it the first time... THE ALIENS! They look like a bunch of furry muppets! One of the best things about XCOM and TFTD was the really scary atmosphere that they got going (eg the first time you faced up to a Lobsterman, or the gruesome Chrysalid). TFTD had the most frightening ones imho. The ones in apoc are jusr laughable. Anyway, still a great game. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
