Stuck at artifact site

So I'm stuck and frustrated I can't find the last alien in a artifact site. I did read the previous topic about locating the last alien. I'd rather just blow the device up and move on. Only problem is I'm not exactly sure what to blow up. I've beat the previous three sites by eliminating every alien. I think it's the room with stairs and three levels surrounded by brains. What exactly do I do to complete the site. Thanks for your help!

Indeed its the black hallway surrounded with tentaculats and some aliens in the upper ledges. Head up the central lift (watch out for a possible tentaculat in there!), and wander into the room beyond, and you'll find the synonium device. It's a little pedestal with two rings spinning on top. Just blow it up, make your way back to the entry points, revive anyone unconscious (they could go MIA if not), then end the mission.

Don't suppose you have a save of the map? Got one from one guy that had an alien lodged in a wall somewhere, would be interested in comparing them.
