Thorondor
2K Games has recently detailed how Civilization 5 will be an environmentally-minded, socially responsible release. Among other things there is a small non-interactive sample of the interactive game manual:We've made the formerly 200+ page printed manual an improved interactive PDF. This PDF manual allows you to click on screenshots to see them clearer than thumbnails, navigate much easier with clickable links, and most importantly, look forward to manual updates as we make changes to the game. Matri
Uhm, this isn't exactly new or novel. A good step nonetheless.

sluissa
Call me a tree killer if you like but I really enjoyed the nice thick manuals of the old Civ games. I'd noticed they were getting thinner, at least with Civ IV, but now they're all but extinct. I still have my old Alpha Centauri manual. A novella all to itself. Alas, o' slab of compressed woodpulp, I shall miss thee.
