Sgt. Strike
Ok, every once in a while my graphics goes all wonky. But I fix this by hitting alt-tab, and then alt-tab back, and it's normal. Ok, I have another problem. I usually play Veteran. Eventually, in the course of things, after I've done several missions, am several months in the game, etc., there comes a ship that says that it can not be intercepted. Or something like that. Also, at some point, it will just stop, and kick me all the way to Windows. I'm playing X-Com CE. I'm playing on XP Pro, as well. I have edited the game, some, the weapons mainly. Everything else is pretty much vanilla. The way I modify the weapons is a combination of hex editing and using an editor. *Edit* Oh, before I forget, if there is another topic like this already, please move it to there, and add it to the thread. *Additional Edit* The screen glitch and solution is not really a glitch, but it may help those who play UFO Defense to get the color scheme back to normal. Nightmare
Maybe combined with XP Pro and those edits on the Guns/Sounds/Aliens anything like that has kind of messed up the original "vanilla" settings? Would it happen if you started up a new game (and didn't save just to see) ?
Sgt. Strike
I'll try it. I don't remember if the ship showed up all the time. I'll see what happens when I play again. However, I've not played it in a while. I don't remember if I added in any mods, or not. I don't think I did I added anything.
