Reticulan Battle armor

Hi new to this game and I love it. My Assault team has an average level of Lvl.17 and my rets are still stuck in the sucky beginner suits. Honestly I have no idea how to get those suits.

 

I've read that you can trade for them but, I never got an offer to do so yet. Is there any alternative?

Can't you fit your reticulans with Advanced Battle Armors? (I think that's what you called them), the armors you got after researching Beastman Plastics.

In the vanilla game, the armours you can produce are human use only. The only other "race" armour you can manufacture would be the human designed drones.

 

The reticulan rebel suits are easy to come by, just produce some extra rifles and ammo clips. The only problem here is they have different trade sets that involve those items so the offer might not appear at first.

 

The reticulan expedition suits have, as with most of their trades, a bigger item demand in value. The only trade set they will exchange some suits involves EM grenades, both human and martian. Producing the human ones won't be too difficult once you have the tech, but you'll either have to "milk" the martians if they're hostile or check if you can trade with them something else in case they're friendly.
