bratwurst Posted January 28, 2004 Report Share Posted January 28, 2004 Greetings! Like many of you I simply love Silent Storm 8) but it's far from perfect. Silent Storm "really" needs a skirmish, custom map, instant combat mode. The way it is now you have no choice but to stick with the campaigns with no better way to get some pure tactical action, just for fun. Who would not want to be able to fire up a "Quick Fight" in a few minutes with PK and everything beign able to set day/night/weather and style of map. THIS would have made Silent Storm live so much longer because it's a brilliant tactical game but a real pain to replay. The RPG part is only fun the first time. ---- I can't be the only one with this problem? The only option we have until an addon or a expansion comes out, Is to mod our own skirmish mode. With the map editor it should be no problem. Hopefully a skirmish add on will be in our future.
