Quick Fix

Just to let you guys know, I was having the whole choppy intro movie/menu laggin problem. I followed all the suggestions on changing my graphics settings, but that didnt work. Then, just on a whim, I clicked on all the "Return to Default" buttons for my display properties, and then changed them back to the reccomended settings. Now the game plays smooth as silk. Dont know why that worked, and I dont care, cuz Im too busy playing this game.

what grfx card do u use? i have an ATI 9800 pro and it runs so choppy i cannot believe it. 1gb of ram running at dual ddr, 3200athlonXP and dx9.0c is the rest of my system.

Did you try the different graphic options in the launcher-proggie (Shaders and avanced graphics-blabla) ? J.R. from ALTAR said they sometimes help with graphic problems, simply check those empty fields an test.

I also have ATI, and for quite some time been using the OMEGA drivers for them with better performance than official drivers (they atleast aren't worse)

 

Could you tell us you display settings (desktop ones) and the game's settings. I've never personally had problems with choppy video with this game.
