Hi all,

I've been a fan of X-COM for over thirty years now… and I know the UFOpaedia still gets a lot of interest, perhaps mostly these days from people playing mods, overhauls and total conversions using OXCE. Although there's a lot of info for the Firaxis games on UFOpaedia as well, the XCOM Wiki on Fandom seems to be the preferred site for those games.

So, what am I looking for? I'd like to know if there are any active wiki editors still enjoying updating the site, and whether there are any goals to work towards?

If there's no organised efforts at the moment, I see there's a very impressive 3,560 "Wanted pages" and a huge number of non-existent Category and Template pages - a lot due to bulk uploads of pages from some other sources. There's plenty of opportunities for tidying up, and I'll just poke around and see what I can do.

One notable goal is to unfuck the Apocalypse section. An enthusiastic editor called EsTeR decided to unilaterally revamp everything over community objections, and while he did some good work he ruined a large number of articles. It's a mammoth task to figure out what to do with the mess.

THere is Games Not Unlike XCOM: Jagged Alliance or Phantom Doctrine and Phantom Doctrine2 or Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus (where u also fight with xenos) etc that can be added in same name category
where is many great mechanics that not in XCOM and can be used in its mods...

Also there can be made XCOM 3 concept game where ppl can offer their ideas and details where and how the plot of the game can continue

Btw how about to update main page ?) add some xcom style, make its mobile compatible
- move some news in archive to make it shorter 
- add some news about wiki or new games (xcom like included since there no xcom news in years)...
- make logo for wiki (i can)
- put this logo in updated beautiful top bar (i can)
- remove maybe games tables from rest of the page coz i think its overload ...
- also i guess Interceptor Info  should be already introduced) or like whole Spin-Offs section

and how about Related games ? mb at least one page for each?

also i like Wiki To-Do List idea in sidebar where ppl can post plans and discuss

and to make it all easier add feature to add <style> tag on pages to use classes

i assume the wiki? There's a lot of room to add new content, document missing stuff, etc.
