Thorondor
OversoulOversoul is looking to have you in the cards. Yes, possession is involved in the offering, but the purpose of Indie development studio Artix Entertainment's pursuit today is only to gather some daring souls who might be willing to participate in the public beta test of their game.https://www.strategycore.co.uk/site/assets/files/5465/news-thumbnail_oversoul_public_beta_bnr.jpg What participants will find at hand in this multiplayer title: The combat system is turn-based strategy where players will use battlecards to battle against monsters in PvE (Player vs. Environment) combat or against other players in PvP (Player vs. Player) combat. Each monster has its own strengths and weaknesses and it's up to the players to find out what those are and use their battlecards effectively to win the fight. Players will often need to change their strategies for each battle to successfully defeat different monsters. Winning a battle against a monster will allow the players a chance to possess it and play the game as that monster. (...) Each monster that players possess can be leveled through a series of evolutions. Monsters that are newly possessed will be able to be leveled into Veteran, Master, and Legendary. Higher level monsters will look more impressive and will have access to more powerful cards. Monsters, levels, and all other rewards earned during Beta will be permanent and will carry over to the live game release. Further details about the game's turn-based mechanics can be gleaned from the press release.
