the only good death for a civillian is a slow death
btw: if a soldier gets hit all he says is "arghh" so you get "arghh arghh arghh scream"

Well, the turrets do work in TB, just sporadically. Bit of a bugger, that.
I'd say they are pretty useless in TB. They do shoot - slowly and badly. I have yet to see a gun actually kill a gangmember
They do distract the invaders which is something

hmmm, could be it. never thought those ships could carry that much. kinda figured that one multibomb was enough for one launcher...
Ohh boy do I have a lot of ships equiped with those... :swoon:

Weapons like the multibomb, stasisbomb, ect. are disappearing. I build like ten of them but after a couple of days they're gone
And all my ships are fully loaded. Can you only store them for a limited amout of time?

Most annoying is when they turn around, starting to fire at the aliens but as result hitting teammates Well until they gain accuracy that is

Just waiting works good in almost all situations, especially when facing buildings with loads of corners. However there's always one alien stuck in a corner, in panic or just doing... well... nothin'.

In the first stages of the game i use a swarm of hoverbike and such. They're cheap and carry enough firepower together to scare away or ever destroy the aliens
Later in the game they get destroyed in like one shot but they are still a good diversion to keep ufo's from attacking other buildings/ships

I just wish the civilians in Apoc were more intelligent!!! I'm sick of seeing yellow dressed ladies running around when theres a groteque aliens next to her!
Well civies do have nice death screams
As for weapons, you can edit alien weapons to appear in your equipment screen - but megaspawn weapons do not work for humans... bummer... :sad:

Yeah AvP rocks but Apoc has this tactical element that AvP hasn't. Maybe StarWars Commando but with Aliens would work

Just been watching Aliens on dvd. For some reason I always want to kick aliens after that Yes, and the infested building has to go too

lol, I HAVE that 2 disc german edition too!
Disc one includes the gamebook (in english ) and Transport Tycoon I believe, Disc two is the german version of the game...

As for the re-equipping thing, well, the trick is to have everyone store common items, like AP grenades, stun grenades, shields, smoke grenades and medikits all in the same item slots for every soldier. Soldiers with similar equipment should store ammo and weapons in the same locations as well.

Anyway Apoc rocks, I've got a german version and I understand like half (being Dutch) but I still love it! Better a german version then non at all

I use 3 teams of 6 (18 then hey). 6 is an easy number, 2*3 or 3*2 etc.
One heavy demolition
One with marsec armor as air defence / fast attack
One "standard" team.
Depending on the mission I use one team as front attack and the other ones as flank. Though at the end of the missions the teams are all mixed up

I like Turn based more. I once played Real Time and got all my ppl dead And you wast much more ammo in RT...
