Okay, some progress. Got it working on virtual machine so far. Turns out that Windows Virtual PC don't support 3D acceleration, so I used Vmware. But camera rotation in edit mode is too fast. Still no luck to run it on Win 7.
I have this problem in both Win7 and XP mode. I tried to install DirectX from retail SS2 disk, but that didn't help. Have anyone faced with this problem? How did you deal with it?
Well, I'm talking about model's attachments, not weapon's. For example, my model has muzzle attachment like this: http://i.imgur.com/A5n0CUn.png Of course it's parented to mesh.But in-game it's incorrect: http://i.imgur.com/ZVDH9Fm.png While any non-mod models: http://i.imgur.com/BujSHCH.png
I really don't like to create topics, but I didn't found any good topics about modelling for Silent Storm. I have problems with attachments. I don't understand how to change their position. In Example file some attachments have changed their positions by translations, some - by "Locator Attributes". I tried each method, but it's still in the origin position in-game.
