The latest iteration of the famed card game is here! Magic: The Gathering - Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013, brings new decks, new challenges, a special new multiplayer mode called PlaneChase, and more, to our virtual tabletops.
In the latest version of this hit franchise, play with friends or the AI as you travel across fantastic planes, take on new encounters and opponents, solve challenging puzzles, and face up to three other players in the Planechase multiplayer format. After honing your skills, pit yourself against the ultimate villain of the Multiverse, the dragon Planeswalker Nicol Bolas.
Amidst the novelties of this edition are the ability to play with cards from the yet unreleased Magic 2013 Core Set, ten customizable decks, 30 additional cards to unlock through gameplay, a unique type of puzzle where you play against an adversary that employs a stacked deck built for a specific strategy and - lo and behold - the option to choose what lands to tap when you cast your spells.
Updated graphics and improved audio are also present, and if you still want more there's a Special Edition featuring early access to foiled cards for the ten Base game decks and other media goodies like the official soundtrack, the second Path of the Planeswalkers digital graphic novel and themed wallpapers.
