Solar War almost went by unnoticed. That really shows how jaded we are these days doesn't it? Yet, to our good fortune, in the far reaches of indie space Snipefish Entertainment is indeed plotting away to bring us this one more star to the ever-expanding turn-based strategy universe.
Having dispatched a probe towards the detected signal source we received the following transmission:
• Defend Earth against an alien invasion from the edge of the Solar System.
• Negotiate with the various governments of Earth and secure their support - One way or the other.
• Establish your bases on other planets to take the fight to the enemy.
• Design and build powerful spaceships, then take them into battle.
Presently the game is still in Alpha, publicly accessible for those willing to contribute with some funding to help development. A demo is nonetheless freely available to sample the early stages of the game, either directly in-browser or via download.
