It's that special time in the history of a great series. As if signaling its own golden age Sid Meier's Civilization V is treated to a Gold Edition which has all its wonders collected under one banner.
By any measure, there's abundance enough of content to match anyone's "just one more turn" cravings, as it includes the Gods and Kings expansion pack, all "Cradle of Civilization" map packs and the "Explorers Map Pack".
There is of course the little matter of the rumored One World expansion to cast the doubt if this is indeed the definitive edition to get, but that is perhaps something to be judged on a coming age.
