In the total rebal mod they work by targeting the unit holding the scanner. But I think once you get E-mag vision they become worthless.

I'm sure this has already been posted somewhere, but damn if I can find it. How do you unlock all the soldiers in the game (La Salle's etc.)? I'd like to have a fuller roster every time I play.
