Playing with this custom mod question.... As I was overjoyed with a mod for S3. I directly downloaded your mod and as instructed unzipped it in the main directory of the game. When starting the game I went to Custom Game and placed your mod in the left side of the screen. Then I loaded my last savegame (in poland map) but I cannot find your random encounters. Just the standard ones Maybe I have to start a new game again to 'activate' your mod or... ???

Hmmmm, I think he already contacted Jowood. Suggestion of disable background tasks seems to me like just a standard reaction of Jowood. Contacting the Nival support seems like the right way to solve this problem. Give it one more try Jukka. This game is too good to not play. Best of luck, Carda

Now I think of it.... a sentinel hiding in a lavatory.... Not very sentinel worthy is it? Ah well, guess he is still a rookie and must be very glad to be resqued by REAL sentinels in training.

Look in the small bathroom on the second floor in the house in the northeast (probably NE) corner. Your captured sentinel should be waiting for you there

WOOHOO... I cleared it... phew man. That took lots of save/loads but I managed to clear the level and disarm the two bombs they set off. Taking it from two sides was the trick. I stunned one when i entered from the east and shot the other guy in the northeast with rifles. So no more right flank. Then my two other men guarded the explosives near the door in the southwest and well, my engineer got hit real bad but we managed to survive. Going for some random encounters next... train my people a bit further before continuing

Whoops!!! Now it's my turn. Should have read the forum before starting this mission.... I get blasted by the explosives all the time and thought, well let's check the forum on this 1. Hmm.... i won't give up yet but maybe I start over again as well and buff my characters more this time AND TAKE MORE THAN ONE MINE PROBE WITH ME... Well, I'm off for another try, this time from 2 sides at once... i'll let you know later if i am frustrated or overjoyed

I made it through m8 *smiles* I didn't kill em all but I also didn't run from the first turn. The chief of command was soo glad to see me back with the documents he promoted me to a real 'sentinel'. *hooray* This evening I'm gonna do the next mission. See ya, Carda

Thanks for the quick answer. I can't wait until I get home from work and try it out..... I was used to the 'kill every enemy' tactic and maybe sometimes indeed it is better to run. (i will check the basement btw) Greetz, Carda

As former fan of Jagged Alliance, XCom and Fallout Tactics, I tried Silent Storm Sentinels this week. I am having great difficulties getting through the second mission where I have to retrieve some orders and I am just on me own. OK, I can shoot down the man in grey suit who wants to rip the documents but then like 5 or 6 people come in to me and well, I get killed all the time. Shooting with pistol from short range gives them the opportunity to shoot me back . Is there any advice you can give me? By the way, I like the game and it's a real shame not many people post here anymore.... Greetings, Carda
