Do what above poster said...disable and force "move" onto alien....only small aliens can be picked up. You can go around and kill all the aliens on the map...leaving one wounded and disabled...and still win the mission. And remember a guy/gal carrying an alien is a sitting target...awful speed.

Did they ever fix that? The unpack-repack after every shot? Are heavy weapons that good? All my guys have Sun...not far enough for Sky,yet. And I've found the Super Striker pretty effective so far. You don't even to have line of sight...which is great for those DeathBellows!!!

Did you set up bases as Bio Mass Repulsers?

Yeah! I have an old Vodoo card 16 bit..and dag nab it! They should make the game play on that... Are you for real? If it says a minuim of GForce 2..then it takes a GForce 2.. Games are not going to get any lower minium requirments... Time to upgrade and join the real world.... These people were trying to help you...and you spit on them.. Get real...

I just got a new video card and now the start up movies are slow and jerky.. I had a PNY 4600 Ti 128 and the movies and game ran fine...until my fan died and fried my card. My new card is a ATI Radeon 9800 Pro XT 256....(sweeeettnessss!) The game itself seems to run fine...even better actually. But the movies don't..I've tried it several times...They start and stop...so I just esc through them. It's no big deal really..it's just that I laid out 5 big ones for this card....and according to the info, I should be able pilot galaxies with it. Ideas? My rig.. Any base in the Bio Mass will be automatically destroyed if it is not used as a repulser. You can now switch it to repulser as soon as you win... Pre Patch..if you did not switch it immediately (To repulser) as soon as you won...and I'm talking seconds here...it would be destroyed. Read the patch read me...

For UFOs..Gernades...acid and incendiary..Only take 4 guys..anymore and you'll be unable to move 2 gernadeers...Once inside just start chucking them down hallways..so that they will have to come through them to get at you...and get splash/or fire/acid damage..and they wil be stuck/slowed because of area of affect. Also have one of your gernadeers a medical man for healing Save your acid and incendearies for UFO entry work 2 Shotgunners..to cover and mop up..have them kneeling When you enter a ship, if it has a small alcove to one side..Grab It!! and use it. I've only done 6 UFO entries..and gernades work best so far.. On Normal setting Come on Tuesday!!! I get my new vid card...my old one blew the cooling fan and fried itself...so I can't play anymore till then...suks

Sorry it took me so long to get back.. I can see my posts now..I think it was my cookie settings...they were all tweaked around because I was panicked after getting that Windows worm awhile back. I just did a fresh install of AOL 9.0..and everything is fine now in the land of Keida.
