The Demi-Godly One
Is it a tracker gun on the into screen? Look at the person at the very left. I think (s)he has a tracker gun.
dauphinbienveillant
No, I don't think. It's an other gun.
NKF
The enforcer? Some enforcer gun no doubt. As for the fellow that looks like he's wearing a hollowed out Coelacanth SWS (look carefully!) as armour, he's carrying an elongated and somewhat puny looking standard X-Com rifle from UFO. Or so it seems from the angle. - NKF
Asmodai
I think it is a Tracker gun. It looks just like the one that dude is carrying.
NKF
Doh, I thought it was the header on the forum. See what sleep depravation does to a person? You meant the Apocalypse start screen? The blue-white deal with a greenish popper? All the soldiers appear to be carrying standard weapons sold on the Mega Primus market. - NKF
The Veteran
What intro screen are you guys talking about? And what tracker gun? Was that the one that they were going to use but never got around to? But answer the first question first!!
NKF
Blue screen, four soldiers in silver-black Megapol armour are posing, one with a Megapol lawpistol, a heavy launcher, a M-4000 and the rightmost fellow's carrying two plasma pistols, although the other pistol's slightly hidden, so it could be anything. There's a green popper with grey veins on the top of the screen, and in the centre, is the X-Com Apocalypse logo with a greenish tint around it. - NKF
The Veteran
Hm. I'll have to take a look later... I think I'll have to reinstall my game though as it has developed a bug that gives it a two day life span!
NKF
Alternately you could just look for a file called title.pcx in ... darn, I forget what directory. Do a search in you currently installed game, or on the Apocalypse cd. - NKF edit: Actually, there are a couple title?.pcx files there. The best one is titles.pcx, the others are the same image, but with placeholders for the buttons.
Jh316
Hey...What program reads .PCX files?
NKF
Well, MS-Paint should be able to open it. You'll need to list all the files if it doesn't list the pcx extension in the open-file dialogue box. Some versions of windows come with something called Imaging, that might work. Or you could try opening it with your web browser. Alternately, you could get any one of the hundreds of free image viewers on the net. - NKF
