Thorondor
According to the latest intelligence from high command, the free-to-play MMO strategy game Tiberium Alliances has entered open beta worldwide today. In the next few months, the game will offer cloud-saved data, accessible across web browsers and mobile devices, allowing gamers to play from home at their desktop or on the go from their smartphones or tablets. The term 'real-time strategy' seems particularly fitting in this case, and not only because of its pervasive accessibility, since we recall "Live status streams and newsfeeds are updated in real time, forcing players to strategize, react, and adapt on the spot". silencer_pl
RTS + MMO + browser + EA = holy mother of crap. I just hope that Bioware will pull through with Generals 2.
NoXTheRoXStaR
I agree with Silencer, EA ruined probably THE best RTS of all time (aside from starcraft) with C&C 4. The horse is dead, beaten so badly into a bloody paste of goo!
Pete
Neither of you want to take 5 minutes to try the beta? It's browser-based and free so I don't imagine it would take very long to get started.
FullAuto
Wow, a game where cloud-saved data makes sense.

Sunflash
Well. I would if EA would stop screwing up my password-reset. :/

Azrael Strife
Hmmm, I am curious about how a massive RTS might be, never played one. That said, C&C4 kinda killed the franchise for me, and without a good setting I am generally not interested in games. Thorondor
Don't know how representative this review at The Armchair Empire is of the overall opinion on the game, but time doesn't seem to have favoured it much...
