Thorondor
Grognards and casual wargamers alike should find plenty reason to dig themselves in with Hubert Cater's latest grand strategy game, Strategic Command The Great War 1914-1918: The flagship campaigns that come with this release cover the war in Europe starting with the great German offensive into France in August 1914 and ending with the final grand battles in France and Flanders in 1918. The battles fought on the Eastern Front and in the Italian, Balkan, and Middle Eastern theaters are all fully represented too.Aerial reconnaissance, trench warfare, logistics, research, national morale, a true to scale recreation of Europe and more are among the newly introduced features. For the reticent, there's a demo with two campaigns - the Grand Campaign limited to 3 months of playtime, and a full mini campaign, covering the German 1918 Spring Offensive.
