BadgerBadger
SO, having a discussion about Aftershock and th eevents in Aftermath, reading my own post quoting the event ".ogg" video files and event text - in the process of jokingly arguing if the only reason the 'base' is on the moon was so they wouldn't copy X-Com2/ or if it was too hard to program (why Mama Myrmecol isn't in the ocean)and a FEW things occured to me. The AS events clearly says (it's the female scientist, but here's the text):"There are two types of Myrmecol
BadgerBadger
After further discussion; I/we came to the conclusion that almost all the inconsistencies in AS ( which only bother you if you love the game, and seem odd considering how internally-consistent AM tended to be)... Arise form the difficulty of placing a game in a situation where THIS THING would have won : There was really no choice BUT to 'nerf' the PlanetMind, if there is to be anything LEFT in AS to do. I still think it could've been other wise nerfed, in a way more consistent with the story; but - whatever.
BadgerBadger
So, not only did i just find out my whole take on the aftermath thing - part of why i thought AS was a little weak/tangled storywise, i think is so they could side-step the implications they'd set up in ufo:AM - - that my "original" idea had already been done... way back in x-com apocalypse... but i was reading something about the laputa someone sent me, and i can't take it anymore. i realize" not all of y'all is from texas", but just look up la-puta in mexican spanish : https://www.freetranslation.com/
