Hotpoint
Hi All, Just thought I'd plug my X-COM/SG-1 Crossover story here in the hopes it might attract a few more readers from the X-COM as well as Stargate side. https://img517.imageshack.us/img517/1421/xscgcomposter3jv9.jpg So far it's up to 46 Chapters and over 284,000 words so it's not exactly a short story! The best version (with a better layout and hyperlinked references in the author's notes to explain things) is to be found on TtH https://www.tthfanfic.org/Story-16092/Hotpo...uld+Defence.htm You can also read it on fanfiction.net if you prefer https://www.fanfiction.net/s/3631062/1/XSGCOM_Mirror_Image XSGCOM: Goa'uld Defence is a few chapters from completion but then I plan to start the sequel XSGCOM: Terra from the Deep which brings elements of the second game into Stargate Atlantis. They crossover better than you'd think honestly! So far the story has picked up over 650 reviews and 175,000 hits between the two sites above and has a sizeable following on spacebattles forums as well where it's also posted so it's quite popular already. Any feedback is welcomed. Richard37

Pete
Thanks for the heads-up - loving it already: ‘Don’t they pay the same to all ranks or something?’ O’Neill asked with a wince. As a Colonel he was bound to get screwed here even if the majority of SG Team members might get a raise. Hammond sighed. ‘X-COM pay their combat soldiers twenty thousand dollars a month before deductions, and by international agreement those don’t include income tax’ he said. ‘You’ll be on a lot more than I am’ he said with a mild hint of resentment in his voice. ‘Actually I checked and you’ll be making more than any of the Joint Chiefs, or the Vice-President for that matter.’ Highly amusing
