Folks,  I am having sound problems with my game. I have installed this on my new comp. but the sound will not work. Can anyone help? I am running Win 98. Is there a patch for the sound? If so , can someone direct me. I am going thru X-COM withdrawl here!!  HEEEEEEELLLLLLPPPP!! Please. :confused:

Sorry to ask the obvious, but do you have a sound card?

It is possible to play without sound.
Having to check each corpse to be sure it's dead is one way to play, doubling back to check the map for lost, scared, wounded, weaponless aliens is another.

I can't help on this one but I do know for a fact that one of the guys here had the same problem as you and they're still around here somewhere. I can't remember who it was but it was definitely one of the main ten odd people here...
