Greets and welcome to Apoc-Flip-Flop v0.5!

This is a beta tool which will allow you
to play as the aliens in X-Com Apocalypse.

It is not a fully polished tool, simply 
something I threw together based on some
stats given to me by Tain.

I could polish it furthar, if I get bugged
enough. There are a few upgrades I can see
that would make it a lot more powerful (the
ability to edit each unit individually, or
for the program to spot the difference
between aliens/humans, etc) but they would
take me a while to write in.

To use the program, simply bung it in your
save game folder. Then, open up a command
prompt, and type:

apocflop x

Where x is the number of the tactical game
you wish to edit (a number from 1 to 10).

The program will switch the allegiance of
all units in the save file, and write the
results into output.txt so you can see
exactly what happened.

Notes as of 3/9/2004:
- Units simply get their allegiances swapped.
  This means that if some units (such as brain
  suckers) get created in game, they will join
  the 'evil' X-Com side and fight you. Running
  apocflip again will put the brainsuckers on 
  your side, but take control of the rest of
  the aliens away from you.

- I've done very little testing. Be warned.

- I haven't yet played out a full mission, I
  just wrote this tool and now I'm posting it. :)
  But I would GUESS that if you win a mission
  as the aliens, X-Com looses. It might be
  possible to fix this.

- Research still stands. If you take control
  of the aliens and haven't researched their
  weapons, tough.

- I gather that goes for aliens, too - Tain
  says you can't use Poppers and the like
  unless you've researched them.
