Sweetly Expendable

by on 22nd Aug 2012

War of the Human Tanks is a cute, yet deadly proposition. Coming from Japan this tactical simulation game shall soon seek to spread the conflict among English-speaking audiences too, and with no fear of getting itself blown up.

But let's be honourable and explain how death and glory come about:

War of the Human Tanks series pits the group of Human Tanks commanded by the player against the opposing Commanding Officers and their forces in a campaign fought on a series of grid-based maps. Players will have to use their wits to upgrade their units and utilize them to the best of their abilities in order to progress throughout the game.

Features:

• Fast-paced strategic battles in over 30 maps
• Use resources earned from battles to develop new tanks
• Customize your tanks with various modules to deadly effect
• Multiple endings based on your performance
• Replay the story keeping your previously earned units and resources
• Free battle mode to practice and gather extra supplies
• Two all-new bonus maps, hand-drawn battle backgrounds and an improved user interface

As we set our gaze upon the horizon, steeling ourselves, we catch glimpse of a charging demo, approaching ahead of the, now official, September 14th full-force release date.

About the demo:

A demo fully featuring the first five chapters will be available 4 September 2012. You will be able to carry over your saves from the demo to the full game. So don't hold yourself back, play it a couple of times, experiment with different results in battles, gather some supplies, develop and build different units and modules...

A wise and good advice for those interested, because, as the old adage says - 'Practice perfect makes'. Young grasshoppers should so visit the Desura dojo when the time is right.
