Fray: Reloaded Edition, is an updated and expanded version of Fray, integrating player feedback, improving the gameplay and mechanics, as well as adding new content and functionalities.
(...) brings many changes and improvements(...): fully redesigned User Interface, new class and weapon balance, visual improvements such as new weapon and particle effects, solo maps, new server and much more.
In the game you will now have access to a "Training" mode where different maps are availble. The first map is a Training Map, with a wide range of possibilities, mobile and static targets, some gouped, some spread, a wide variety of cover, so that you can test your weapons and squad, try new tactics and see how each feature in Fray will work on the battlefield.
The Live Fire Maps is another game mode that we put in Fray to test your skills as a player. Built as a reverse tower defense, you must survive a maze, with many different types of turrets with different abilities hide. This will help players sharpen their skills, or warm up before a game.
Those who purchased the game back in June will get the game's official soundtrack for free and a demo has also been put out (on Steam) so that those new to the game can try it out and experience this multiplayer turn-based tactics offering.
The new edition can be purchased either directly from the developers or through Steam as detailed here.
