Of Fiery Contours

Easterly winds blow, and heatedly so. Thus is history writ anew in Eugen Systems' upcoming WarGame: Red Dragon, the third instalment of the series, where the theater of operations is the Far East and the Cold War warms up, taking a very different turn.

The action will take place in Asia, more especially centered around the Korean Peninsula. The timeframe will be extended to 1975-1991.

Five new factions will be in play: The People's Republic of China, South Korea, the Country of the Calm Morning, North Korea, the Country of Unicorn and Beloved Leader, Japan, the Country of the Rising Sun and Australia & New Zealand gathered under the common flag of the ANZAC (Australia & New Zealand Army Corps).

Over a dozen dynamic solo engagements are anticipated, of varied lengths and difficulty with plenty of diversity and much belligerence amongst the contenders guaranteed, new units showing up in the form of ground vehicles with amphibious capabilities, naval forces, helicopters like the Black Hawk and more, adding up to something like 1200 units featured in all.

Information is not exactly abundant as of yet but with release tentatively slated for early next year further updates are surely inbound.
