It's time to go over to the Gratuitous Tank Battles front lines. So says Mr. Cliff Harris of Positech Games regarding his freshly released World War I tower defense/RTS/simulation hybrid.
The game is now available in digital format from a number of online sources, with Steam having a nice edge price-wise with a 10% discount until the 24th of May. If the purchase is made directly at Positech there's also a possibility to get a second copy for a friend at a very friendly 50% discount.
What other plans are there you ask?
Even though the game is now officially released, there will be updates, patches and improvements. I’m already working my way through tests of the first post-release patch, which concentrates on mod support for the game. I want the mod support to be ‘at least’ as good as the Gratuitous Space Battles modding, which was incredibly popular.
Simultaneously, the 1.008 patch was also released today, marking the first full release build of the game and meaning all existing copies with a previous version will eventually be automatically updated.
