Making Its Way Through

A contender rises in Tempe, Arizona. The incredibly well populated segment of card games is about to gain one more entry to its ranks, courtesy of Second Wind Games, which herald from the aforementioned location, championing a certain Passage: Digital Tactical Card Game.

Passage is a Digital Tactical Card Game (DTCG) with an emphasis on strategic play; however the world of Passage is much larger. The DTCG portion of the universe is simply a fraction of the greater universe. Passage takes place in a post-apocalyptic world in which deities of the past have been 'reborn'.

Throughout the ages, humanity has slowly vanquished their superstitions and their faiths for the more concrete, the more tangible. Passage takes place 20 to 30 years after the return of the gods.

In this game each player is participating in their role to either claim territory or to take over territory for their particular sect on Earth. Humans at this point coexist with the supernatural, the surreal and the fantasy.

Passage allows for diverse movement, unique attack ranges in addition to aerial and underground combat. The platform within Passage allows for cards of all kind to exist.

For now the path to be traveled is yet long and its arrival is estimated only for Summer of 2014, with beta access sometime in the Spring, but a Kickstarter initiative seems to be in the cards to assist in bringing it along to fruition in the best possible way.
