  1. Wow 34 people tried this, yet no feedback lol. Looking at the DL I think I may have messed up the RAR. It was so long ago now I forgot what the coup is with it.

    TFTD Extender

No problem, i find it quite funny that this time last year (well more january) I was in the middle of my xcom fix and was searching high and low for a TFTD mod bassed on the extender and there was no trace of one. You must have released the early version of it just after I stopped playing. Thanks for taking sebs extender project on though brother, here have 50 TU's
  3. I'm gonna try to make a better one today, also one for TFTD, I know they aren't exactly real mods but they are good for a bit of fun. BTW did anyone notice anything wrong with it??

    TFTD Extender

Anyone have an issue of the turn ending when you save on the battlescape? Not that I save often LOL
  5. BTW did anyone ever get to the bottom of the endless retaliation base defence bug?? I can't remember if there was even a fix for it. I know it was rumoured to be to do with the mind shield.
  6. I was reading on ufopaedia about this game you can set up called aliens own earth, http://www.ufopaedia....iens_Own_Earth So I had a blast at making it, there isn't quite 20 alien bases cos I got fed up with constant base attacks so I stopped at around 10. The first two bases have been discovered and you have a hundred thousand credits extra than normal starting. I just couldn't be arse to shove it into the editor again. it is on experienced mode, if you want to set up the game from a start point of your own simply copy and overwrite these 3 files into a new save of your own LOC.DAT BASES.DAT and CRAFT.DAT Also I may have left some items in there from when I was setting it up so if you happen to have an avenger with fusionball launchers please sell them enjoy.... Aliens Own Earth.rar
  7. Wow looks really good for late ninetys. Must have been a hevey decision to drop it. What other games was it going up against??. It looks as good as say swat 3's graphics and that didn't come out till about 2001 ish.
  8. Hey team, I'm playing tftd at the moment and its the first time I have attempted either EU or TFTD on superhuman mode. I have only ever gone as far as veteren. I know you have more enemys with more advanced weapons to face and have had one of my squads come face to face with a DPL loosing my 3 highest ranking soldiers but I seem to be making tons of progress and i'm only on my third day.(real time) I have already researched a live deep one and built an MC lab, I have all the sonic weapons and researching the DPL. I also have AP-armor and Things seem to be going swimmingly. My question is on harder difficulty do you detect less USO's making it harder to genorate high scores or is it just my sonars not picking them up. According to my graphs there is allot more activity in areas than I am picking up. I have built a secondary outpost on the other side of the globe to try and intercept more subs but they dont seem to be comming. Its nearly april ingame and I am only on USO 9 but I have had 2 port attacks. The council of funding nations seem pretty happy with me so i'm not to sure whats going on. Maybethe aliens are in the process of infiltraiting some goverments and i'm gonna be taking a big budget cut soon. Anyway if anyone knows how regular subs apear on superhuman mode can you let me know please.
  9. Thanks for the reply Okay so to turn off the music do I go into the tftd setup menu, can I do it in game or do I have to tamper with a file. I do have the TFTD soundtrack already so I probably will go staright ahead and give it a go. Thanks again
  10. I have started to dose myself up on another xcomathon and have finished EU while using various tools like xcomutil and sebs loader/extender and it made the game more user friendly, due to having things like auto sell and craft ready notations. I am using util with tftd but some of the tools don't apear to be working like the save loadout, soldier order promp, mc screening promp after missions. But maybe I have set it up wrong. Anyway I have looked high and low on the web for mods that have more tools to offer but I don't think there are any. Unless anyone can prove me wrong which I would be very glad to hear. Failing that one of the main things I want to change is the music in tftd. In EU sebs loader allowed for me to use the PSX mp3 music. But I have noticed that the music files SOUNDS folder in tftd are not labeled the same as in EU. Is it possible to use the PSX music on PC. I already have XCOMHACK for editing \ Cheating. I am just after tools for improving the game. Adavced thanks to any replys David.
