no windows XP SP 3, 32bit OS, i added the file into game directory and just CTD with both. so i rolled back drivers and got games working ok, just have to sit with unupdated drivers till i get sick of UFO and stop playing edit, from DX diag... thanks very much eriss, trying now. Kaiden edit. unfortunatly crashes both aftershock and afterlight so no joy there. edit 2, ok rolled back to ATI 9.5 drivers and all good. damn irritateing though. cheers for the help guys

so its just a problem with the latest ATI drivers and is there any hope of this being addressed? a little more info then"ATI broke its drivers" would be useful also, anyone know of a work around or am i going to have to declare war on my current drivers and work on back stepping to play?
