  1. I recently started a TFTD game on beginner with XcomUtil (latest version) determined not to cheat, however, every time I enter into a second stage mission, be it artefact sites or shipping lanes (haven't cracked a base yet) I always end up losing a good chunk of everything that I was carrying. And the inventory seems generally scrambled up as well. Guns will be empty, Disruptor Pulse cannons and grenades will be gone, (except for a couple,) and I will end up with some ammo but it will be on the general item pool at the bottom of the screen. While it is possible for me to use what guns I have ammo for to get ammo for the other aquanauts, this presents a level of a difficulty that is honestly not welcome with TFTD second level infested lobsteman closet hell. Any ideas? Also, whenever I switch from geoscape to tactical, I get the XcomUtil command line that I have to use Ctrl-C to load up the tactical screen. Sometimes I get a windows error prompt, but regardless Ctrl-C will start up the game. Could it be a XcomUtil feature interferring with the game? I apologize for the wordiness.
  2. Looks promising... I like the idea of gradually fortifying your house until it's a virtual castle with minefields and mounted guns to survive
  3. Those aliens on the box art look pretty cool too bad they never showed up in the game itself. Tho I wonder on the box art why is the lone soldier aiming at the alien to his far right instead of say the one right in front of him

Was the part about the sonic pulsars and one aquanaut a passive aggressive attack on my playing ability, considering I cheated occasionally? lol But that's weird I never did anything with maintenance costs. I used the editor sweet known as tftdeditor from this website. Oh well, this is a moot point since I finally got xcomutil to work with my original floppy disk copy of XCOM UFO defence. Alas, my tftd game stands collecting electronic dust. Why didn't you use MC to defend the base? Once I got my hands on that, I didn't need to boost my soldiers stats anymore haha

  6. The previous month I had 2000 points and about 6 million dollars at the end, and this month I had around 14 million. I've knocked over 3 colonies this month and I went to an artefact site on the first, each worth around 2000 points apiece I'd say.   7. In July 2040 I end the month with 11000+ points and plenty of money, yet at the end of month funding screen I get the Xcom gets dissolved message, with my positive score plainly visible. It goes "Excellent work! Unfortunately we've decided to disband Xcom." I've reloaded earlier saves, sold everything so as to have a lot of money so bankruptcy isn't an option, and still I get disbanded. I'm playing superhuman on v1 of dos TFTD. I was just wondering if anyone else knew why this happened, or a possible fix, as I would like to finish my superhuman game. Please help!
