Greetings I'm wondering if the PK that stands right in front of the tent is capturable? I tried killing the pilot but he barely gets any damage inside his PK in contrast to the others that easily die to beams or my trusted K98 silenced. I can't make him bleed and he even regenerates health thanks to his PK chassis. I've only seen enemy pilots leave their PKs in the Base defense mission, is there a special way to trigger that behavior or some other way to get the pilot out of his PK? Also, I heard rumours that it's possible to instakill PK pilots, what weapon would one need for that? Not even beam weapons seem to suffice. edit: seems like it's possible to render an enemy pilot unconscious via melee weapons, I'll try that I usually go barehanded but that didn't work maybe a club or a katana does the trick edit2: no, melee weapons only work vs PKs in S2 and they don't knock unconscious but hurt like ballistic weapons

Greets The skill growth system in S2 is retarded, endless clicking till any skill goes up one point. I'd rather have all skill points go up when my characters level up corresponding to their level (like the guys that stay in the base and are like always one or two levels behind your guys) or have it like in Hammer and Sickle, where after a successful shot/repair etc the skill goes up one point and where hide goes up with successful sneaking and so on. Since I didn't find such a mod and am not adept at reading the H&S scripts I tried to get the S2 Editor to work but no dice. The editor doesn't seem to want to work with MS SQL Server 2005 and the setup from the CD does only work till Windows 2000 it seems. It won't even work in VMWare because VMWare doesn't emulate 3D Hardware. SHIT. I could try reformatting, partitioning, reencrypting all my shit to install another OS but come on, there must be some easier solution, right? Would be cool if someone could tell me how I get the editor to work or at least where I can find such a script that fulfills my needs for an even better S2 experience. edit: the setxplevel cheat seems to do the trick, kind of a gamebreaker but it gets the job done
