Gfx card tweakers normally have options to increase th eperformance orthe quaility depending on ur fancy. I dunno the Radeon uses in this regard as i have a GForce 3Ti, but my gfx tweaker (RivaTuner) lets me crank detail up.

Uzis r ammo proper ammo hogs, i EQed 3 of my team in the beginning missions for a practice run an all 3 ran outa ammo before i finished mission. They were on burst like

I just done the retribution mission again an had 0 thats ZERO rocket aliens. just had a couple of collapsable guns insteed :hmmm:

Also though u can abort the mission whenever u feel like it an any troopers alive, half alive or nearly dead will all be saved. U lose the mission like but keep ur guys alive. Bit stupid if u ask me really.

Think ur poll options r unfair an all u seem to say is that slow is BAD. i go very slow on my missions, using methods of scout ambush an crossfires. But inside bases i go fast with my close range guys an have no problems.

I've been running a couple of test missions on this for bout a week now an best way i found for myself is to only take 3 troopers with fast run speed an MP7's then fire an move. I managed to get all 3 inside but only killed 3 aliens. Problem been is this took me 7 attempts to get that far so maybe a better tactic is needed

shrapnel where did u read that the res can be changed from 1024x768?? Probly some dumb ass that does'nt know wtf there on about. And like Skeelo says the directors cut does'nt save replys, all it does is spin around the aliens when u see them an weird stuff like that.

What i find most funny is that u can abort a mission smack in the middle of combat. There is no transport to run like hell to like X-COM, so that to me is kinda dumb. Different troop transports woulda been nice but only a mod can fix that lill hitch.

Yea the Retribution mission has been a problem for many players so far, with each making different tactics an stratgys up to work for them. U can look at what each player has put down in the other retribution topic somewhere, but other players tactics don't always work for ur own game its bestto try different ways to attack the mission. Some like myself just make a dash for the entrance an hope luck gets u through (lost 5 troopers doing this :hmmm: ) while others make a stand an fight. Others cheat, some save/reload a lot. Just try an find something u can do urself, takes time but its better than cheating :alien2:
