Hello guys, i have some trouble. All people remember X-COM and its right to say that XCOM is an TBS(Turn Based Strategy) or TTB (Turn - Based Tactical Battle). But if we speak about UFO series: What is the correctly genre of UFO series? Sorry for this question but its confused to me Bye

Thanks by your answer. In my first post, i spoke about the emulators of DOS because in other topis or threads, i have read information about this. I don't know, the more common, the most general way to play UFO in modern's PCs of the XCOM users. I remember to have played XCOM UFO and TFTD in a Windows ME(which was based in 98 SO)but in XP SO, i never played yet in XP with a emulator. For this, i am asking in forum for emulators.

Hi all! I have found a link to a Dosbox(?) in another topic on this forum but is broken. I believe that XCom Collectors Edition was for Pc, and didn't need any type of emulator, was click .exe and game.(Well, not the original exe, "another" exe ) Never I have used no emulator, and i need some information about your favorites. Or what way you play with ufo? Dos emulator in Xp or 2k O.S ? Thanks and sorry for my english! ( I believe that this phrase is going to be my firm )

I think that my problem is more serious unfortunately. I have revised the sound controls, the midi bar and all is ok. The midis in sound folder, sound well. But, when i execute the ldr_XCOM2.exe and games start, i have the same trobule. The music is off. Then, i jump to the windows(while, the game is being executed) and try another time, the midi sound folder and now, the midis executed with Media Player don't sound. I don't know if i am explain well the situation Thanks. PD: its strange, in x-com:ufo all works good.

Hi all! I have some trouble with Gold Edition of X-Com: TFTD. I have downloaded the 2 X-Com, 1 and 2. The installation of X-COM:Ufo defense have no problems. Graphics ok, sound ok, music ok. But in Terror from the Deep, the music no work. -I install the game in a directory folder, C:\X-com2. -I rename the terror.exe to Terror from the deep.exe, and i execute the patch, ldr_XCOM2.exe -The music only works in presentation(trailer) of the game(because is a video). -I start the new game and all works correctly. Graphics and sound(sound of the buttons, shoots of the weapons,etc.), but not the music. If i start a combat mission i can listen the shoots,bombs, etc. but not the music What can i do? Thanks a lot.

Hi at all This is my first post in strategycore forums! Before begining with my doubts, leave me to say that this is one of my favorite's web. I'm fan of strategic games, since i played X-Com: Terror from the Deep and in strategycore i find a lot of information. Well, the doubt. My "problem" is with the mod files, that there are in the download area. I don't know, how i should install this mods to use in the Silent Storm game. In silent storm directory, there are a "game.db", and the mods(Axis-Skins, for a example) have a "game.db" too. Im looking Austrialian Silent Storm Hq, in how to section but without luck. How i use this? Greetings!
