  4. well.. it seems i got the problem We are sorry but UFO: Aftermath only runs in windowed mode on Matrox cards at the moment. We are working hard on rectifying this situation. Please run the game with command line option --option fullscreen=FALSE but how do I set the option fullscreen on false? Does that anybody know?
  5. I installed DirectX 9.0 now and the newest Matrox Driver... same error .. so far.....
  6. uhm no,.. i guess 1.4 is the patch for all.. but the main problem isnt the version conflict..
  7. 8. nothing helped i installed the 2 xcom3 fixes, changed the path of the shortcut.. nothing. the others in those thread can see ANYTHING. My PC doesnt get over the DOS
  9. okayyyy .. well to doubleclick apoc.bat looked much more hopefull than in DosBOX, but its not starting too.. well, when I started, the doswindow is closing after 1 second.. i had to made a screenshot to read the content here it is -> http://www.intanet.at/screenapoc1.jpg i dont know the problem :/ I tried to start it with VDMS, the difference in the message is, that VDDLouder is already loaded and i shall unload it.. it seems i dont need VDMS I also tried to turn off "every" soundoption, but the only thing i can do in setup.exe is to doubleklick [No Sound] ... i dunno :/
  10. Hi. I try to start the game, but nothing happens. I have Windows XP and my Emulator is DOSBox 0.65. I tried to follow the Steps from http://www.xcomufo.com/forums//index.php?act=ST&f=26&t=841 (at least Step 3 and Step 4, coz i have a full package... sound doesnt matter to me, i want to run my music - and the music scares me). Well if I try to start Apoc.bat in my Emulator it says: --- Illegal command: dosdrv MOUSE2KV.1 Win2k/NTVDM/VESA/Mouse utility by Peter Maceluch Designed to address the issues with mouse cursor being unable to reach whole screen in some DOS programs in Win2k special thanks to bla bla bla. ---- any ideas how i can fix this and run Apoc? thank you guys
  11. okay thank you... yea I finished the game without killing the pirate base and probes.. so, at least no problem.. thank you
  12. Hi.. i have a very weird problem with X-Com Interceptor. When i head for enemy bases (for now I have only a pirate base) or for alien-sonde, i cant find them in battle. I have it on the stragety-view, but if I join battle, i can fight against enemy fighters, but the pirate base is not here. On my Display I have the picture of the base and Information bout the structur, but on the HUD the arrow is targeting always in the same corner and always 0.00 km are distance. Is that normal? Do I have to find the base with my eyes? And what is reeally weird, when I searched for an alien-sonde and didnt found it, i tried to kill my wingman. Suddendly, before the wingman died, the sonde was killed (My rockets always hit him!?). Does anybody know the problem or know a solution. I know Interceptor is very old, but maybe someone knows a way to find and destroy those bastards. And its no problem of graphics. In Base-defenses i can see the Bases very good thanks
