  1. Hi all Could you tell me when Codename 7.62 was announced ? Where can i find info on it (in english if possible ...), cause i'm very curious to see what it will be and there is very few info on it it seems. Thx
  2. I'm not usually fond of real-time with pause, but this one has some potential if you're looking for extremely detailed modern combat. And guns. Lots of guns. Keep your eyes out for a new demo coming soon. Am I the only one that suspects this "innovative combat system" to be VERY alike to the SAS of UFO series? hi all At first glance, from what i've seen in the old demo, the pause system is like others of his kind and has nothing extraordinary / innovative. It seems to be doing its job well, at least for what we need for a tactical game ... It makes me remember all the fun of (some of) the battles in Baldur"s gate & co which, correct me if i'm wrong, were a very good mix of RTS and TBS.
  3. And in the forum an additionnal info is about the break between GFI / Strategy First Interview Tacticular Cancer
  4. And if you want the very beautiful Hi Res image they used for the night background ,go there => Population Data - Light in the night A must see :-)
  5. If this new Jagged Alliance game is as good as the 2 before and keeps the typical flavor that the characters added, that's perfect for me and, i hope, for a good number of people. Of course, if the devs could add this or that to the game without changing / breaking the core mechanic, why not. But how many times have we seen games that does not support new concept addition unless you consider them as a new games, or more precisely, other kind of games. After all, people play chess since more than 1500 years, and still enjoy it :-) (ok, this is a bit exagerated ... lol) That being said, Jagged Alliance, as it was the case for X-com 1 & 2 for instance, has the advantage of offering a good mix between technical AND "artistic / scenaristic" realisation. This is what makes the magic and what most people want, i think, because this is that which let your imagination fly.
  6. Thx for this ! There are also new screenshot on mistland website ... on showing dialog box (with Blood). Also, Fox has a new modern Nikita like haircut Mistland website
  7. Hi all Has anyone had problem with this demo ? when i launch the game, i have a message "no log directory", and after that a black screen and nothing else. I've not installed the demo on C drive, i'll test that later; i'll also test it on another computer to see (first one is common XP SP2, no probs usually) Does anyone know a website for this game, or a dedicated forum from dev / editors. I do not seen anything on 1C and strategy first technical forum is empty ... Any idea ?
  8. I was hesitating submiting this news. Not sure if the game was that interesting (here, more rpg than strategy, no ?), having not played the first part, and even considering the game engine used for it ...
  9. Very interesting project. Is there a website dedicated to it ? Ok, i just find it => http://lasthopemod.moddb.com/
  10. Very interesting reading that the Outpost articles
  11. Damn ! You found it. I was just preparing to submit it Let's hope tha the IA will be better ...
  12. Well, the good thing with this trailer is that it is centered around ambiance. Also, i've seen in the screenshot that there must be more beautiful images / paintings to illustrate the game. i'm also a bit skeptical about the cartoony look, even if in the case of X-com it was well made, but if we can have a good IA, destroyable background and a nice story, well, that is more important.
