Thanks for that. Was thinkking maybe my post would help others who may have the same problem with gamma/brightness issues. Hopefully this was of some use to others.

My it is a shame how quiet it is on these forums.

Cheers ive tried all that already but thanks anyway,guess ill have to live without UFO. *edit* I found a handy little program called Advanced Gamma Corrector which allowed me to sort out the brightness a treat,oh happy days.

Hi there first time poster,i got my copy of said game running thanks to this site cheers. Im having one problem though when i start the game its all very dark and gloomy and no matter what gamma settings i use in windows when i enter game its still the same. If anyone can help id be most gratefull as its spoiling my enjoyment of the game. Thanks.
