Me too also i like to use a mined door/window a a sort of remote controlled bomb. ie mine said door and at any time ap's allowing shoot it from distance causing it to blow. a huge grenade/charge is great for opening up the front of a building and exposing any survivors to sniper/heavygun fire.

got you on the skill tree. take my medic, the one left at base has a much higher medicine rating but as he has not been in the field so to speak he can't use half the items in the inventory. also i prefer alaba's bedside manner ha ha

I have been playing with a steady crew slowly building them up, i came to the lab mission and decided to drop my sniper in favour for another soldier but low and behold as i checked the points of the others they were extremely high compared to my levelled team i.e. my sniper has a snipe of 53 where as the totally unused sniper had a snipe of 87. my question is what is the point of the skill tree?

The joy of nades in a random encounter i came across a pair of bad guys in a room so decided to blow them up. but as i'm using the increased range mod and Taras has improved throwing the nade "stotted" straight off the german helmet and was returned to sender ending his turn and life.

on the second mission in the manor house i booby trapped the front door next to the big machine gun with the biggest nade that i was carrying and waited. about 4 enemy shuffled about just outside the door for 3 or 4 turns but never came in. so i opened fire on the door taking it, the enemy and most of the upper floor out. boya!!!

Thanks to you two, that did the trick DoomMunky may all your head shots hit their mark. Also i would recommend to anyone to use registryfix to remove the programme for reinstallment. once again thanks.

It doesn't come up with the dialog where to install, it just goes straight to the Mod, repair remove box. its searches for previous installed files then goes to the above mentioned screen. i've tried uninstalling but it seem to leave files on my drive??

it searched for installed files then the only menu i get is Modify, Repair, remove. it's the normal game

Can some one help, i have gotten my english copy of silent storm from ebay so i uninstalled the Russian version and have installed it, the installation wizard didn't give me the choose of where to install the program but instead installed it straight into C/windows. no matter what i do it always does this and when i try to run the game it shows the error "The Binkw32.dll file is installed in the windows or windows system directory - it must be installed in the applications directory" can anyone help??
