  1. I started a random encounter and couldnt trust my eyes. There is an enemy soldier standing on the roof of a sniper tower(is stand the correct word for it?). How did he manage to climb up the roof? Its a pity you cand attach screenshots in this forum cause I dont have no webspace to put it on.
  2. THX for the numbers of the axis PKs. Ever tried to destroy the summoned PKs with grenades? I think they are undestructable. They are showing 0/70 VP but when I use it(using a destroyed PK is really weired) the health bar of it is full. 8)
  3. I played the mission twice and got two Sea Devils. The second time i left the first Sea Devil home, only used PKs and crushed the whole house. After searching through the remainings with pressed ALT-key I found the Sea Devil on the ground. 8) But I use only one Sea Devil for my sniper, cause I only use one sniper and the other guys are too dumb to kill the drivers with it, although I have trained their sniping and shooting skill to max. :? The best weapon against PKs is the prototype laser weapon found in the second random encounter on the swiss map in the hand of a good soldier with high burst skill. The boss in the last mission was nearly dead after 3 bursts in only one round.
  4. In axis campaign I was able to find the Big Joe arrows. The mission is in the southwest corner of of the Hannover map. There is one mansion with a big fuel tank, a fuel barrel and a double door on the ground level. The underground level has a room with some bottles and the Big Joe grenades are in a chest under these bottles(look carefully so you dont miss em!). This encounter is very RARE and only comes up once or twice in ten times I play this mission. The building is always the same but the starting point of my men and of the enemies is random. When you once got the mission with the chest u should remeber your starting point. I realized that you will start always at the same location if you start the mission with the chest. Has anyone found the location of the little Joe arrows in axis campaign? I read that it should be in scottland but never got it, although I played about 30 encounters on that map. Where are the Big/Little Joe Pistols? I played the encounter 3 times, looked around everywhere and blow down the whole house but wasnt able to find it. *edit* I looked through the cheats and found a silenced carabine DeLiz1. Has anyone found it in a mission? I think the silenced carabine and the Big Joe are worth to be found after testing them. Big Joe is as good as little grenades and doesnt need as much space in inventory as bazookas etc. and only needs to spaces for the ammo. The silenced carabine should be as good as silenced smgs in buildings and be better than pistols(I hate pistols and never use them). The little Joe seems very useless to me, because it doesent seem to make significant damage for a litle granade.
  5. With a sniper rifle I killed 3 guys lined up. With a MG 42 I killed 4 guys in a line(its a pity my sniper wasnt there). With the HMG of Gator(with the round magazine of .303 british) I was able to kill a cluster(not all lined up) of 6 people. With a heavy grenade from Taras I killed 9 people in a mission I had to escape with a female technician(I just positioned them right, didnt move them afterwards, used interrupt for the first turn, used Taras first and finished them off with HMGs).
  6. Thats a waste of space! Like said before you should use the ZB30 to convert the ammo. The magazines only need one space in inventory to hold 30 rounds. This will be 120 rounds on 4 spaces compared to a 50 rounds magazine of the MG34 and one slot items will better fit your inventory. The ZB30 gun holds my sniper in his second(nearly useless) hand. My tactics is to convert all the ammo after killing the last enemy. Then I will collect it on the ground to give my soldiers all Items(weapons,medical,grenades....) I want to keep. Then I will fit all empty spaces with ammo I cant get from my base. After doing this I will use up all ammo left on the ground to train my shooting skill before I leave the mission. Weapons I will only collect 6 of every kind because you can only take 6 men for mission and too much items collected in base will kill my CPU.
  7. Hi guys. I'm from germany and can tell you that the Kar stands for Karabiner(carabine) and it was the main weapon of the german Wehrmacht used in many varieties, though I'm absolutely no WW2 expert. Mauser was a rifle designer like Kalashnikov from russia. More infos will give you two links I found with google. http://www.gunsandammomag.com/rugers_guntalk/guntalk/ http://directory.google.com/Top/Recreation...3_Springfields/ How much zoom would they got with this funny little scope? http://www.dhm.de/lemo/objekte/pict/ak003578/
