  1. I noticed on gameplay's site (gameplay.co.uk) A product called Silent Stom (sic) gold, to be released in 75 days. I can't see what, if anything, is different to Silent Storm. Anyone heard about it?

    The Manual

Is it written for people with modding/mapping experience? I am really needing a very simplistic and basic tutorial ( Something like an rts game tutorial - "Now left click and your hero will walk to the flag" " left click and drag a box arond your units to group select" That sort of thing. The title of this tutorial should be something like. Step by step by step instruvctions to build this particular map. So not just telling me to select a texture, but rather telling me to select a particular texture.
  3. I presume you know that some perks require you to have followed multiple branches. Check the perks that are not available for selection and see how many lines lead to them, and if you have all the prereq perks.

    my broken arm

you're doing it incorrectly, try applying your nose to the numpad

    my broken arm

He'll be ok if he has a nose.
  6. Unless you saved before the first time you went onto that map you can't go back. Don't worry, you will see that mission the next camaign you play probably. You are going to replay right? By the way, apparently the wire cutters don't help with wire fences
  7. There's no need to test this, we already know that the mission clues, including the first one, are somewhat random (although naturally there is some kind of order)
  8. Sook starts with Shuriken, or as I call them, suicide stars. If he uses them it's like commiting suicide. Pissed of Gerry with burst fire.
  9. F.Y.I. it's Shuriken commonly referred to as Japanese throwing stars I haven't really used melee weapons much at all, my scout got whacked too many times. They don't seem safe unless you have a backup sneaker with enough ap's for an smg burst. Scouting inpairs seems silly though. "No... they are not "civilians", but underground resistance " or black marketeers
  10. That I don't know, oddly my medic doesn't have master medic as an option in his skills tree. *Edit* I was mistaken, he does, aboit halfway through, not at the end. Master medic: "This ability increases the medical skill by 15 points when healing the wounds" Master Engineer: "this ability removes all the limitations on using engineering items" It does imply that a master engineer should be able to use any item, although that would be very out of balance with the Master Medic skill. That, coupled with the description of such items as the nitro Glycerine, which state an engineering skill (81) and the Master engineer abilities as requirements, leads me to believe that the description is simply ambiguous.
  11. "Master Engineer is supposed to allow the use of any engineering item regardless" Actually the wording is that it removes all limitations, it does not actually say that it removes any requirements, so perhaps the trick here is to discover what is meant by limitations.
  12. Re master Eng, I'm not sure it's a bug, the description for nitro glycerine states that master Engineer is needed, and also the Eng skill of (81?) is needed. My Engineer has master Eng, but only Eng 41.
  13. I agree the sniper looks better now, but I think the scout looks silly with the mask on that uniform. I suggest leaving the scout as he was originally.
  14. Got it today in Tokyo, Japan from Gameplay.com. Would have gotten it yesterday but it was a public holiday.
