  1. I havent really used them, but everyone is inlove with them. If they are being used to throw knives or shurikens, then no thanks. How are they being used?
  2. - When shooting through the ceiling at an 'ear' target, aim for the floor under thier feet, instead of the target itself. You have a much better chance at hitting them, or making them fall through the floor. - Dont bother shooting enemies up close with a sniper's rifle. Always have a high powered pistol ready for close encounters. Quite a few times, my sniper missed on a 100% shot when up close and personal.
  3. Or are those simply a couple of the better skirmish/random battles that happen? If so, where in the Allied campaign is the huge town level that you play in the demo. That map was always a lot of fun.
  4. Hey Tarot... I just started the Axis campaign after using the Allies for quite a while, and nearly finishing. Maybe I am just used to leveled up characters, but to me the Axis seem to stink, LOL... I guess I need to give them some experience... Any tips for using them?
  5. I have Zinaida on the SVT-40... The 10 round clip is the best part. Nothings worse than running out of ammo, and only getting a shot or two with your next turn. Arvid is using a Mosin... Small clip, but nice damage...
  6. So what are you guys equiping yourselves with? I am having a hard time deciding on sniper rifles. The five shot clips are really starting to piss me off... Also, what heavy machine guns are you using if any?
  7. Biggles, I read this and wanted to make a few comments. Being that Silent Storm was about World War 2, it wasnt meant to have 'character' development. If it were, then it would essantially be fiction. In WW2 the soldiers were to slay thier adversary, and forget them. Leaving emotion at the door, if you will. SS does this pretty well in my opinion. If a platoon was sent to disable an enemy commander, they were given an appoximate location, and perhaps a photo, not a dialog of his personal life. If anything, SS needs more background on your squad, I agree with that. I really dont want this game to be bogged down with a big sensative story. WW2 was about killing the enemy, and winning the war, even though SS takes a lot of the seriousness away from that.
  8. Yeah, you are right. That is how it is done. Crazy... It gave me a confirmation that I did everything right. Thanks for the help. That was a great level. I had to start it over twice after getting my hero killed. SS is one of those rare games that make it worth while.
  9. The tip book I found said you must gather your squad, go to the edge of the map, and click out side of it to exit. Doing this just says "Path Not Found". I can exit via the 'Leave' button, but I dont know if this actually completes the level or not... Im on the arms warehouse level. The first one in Northern Britian. I have the knocked out German, but I cant leave. What gives?
