  1. What is this Big Joe? :shock: Can anyone give any stats on it?
  2. Here's how to do the Ural mission: I assume this is the one with the two 20mm Flak guns up on the first ridge. So you gotta get good SMGs for your scouts (or scout) and scoped rifles for the rest. Go turn-based ASAP. Now send your scouts running for the first bunker, the one with the two PKs in front. Scouts because they have the most APs. Now the rest of the team will play snipers, eliminating anyone the scouts see. If you hurry, you should beat the PK crew to the PKs and take control of the suits. The important thing is to take the one with the beam guns rigged on, it's the PK-killer one. The other one can deal with any infantry, but both have to fear guys with huge bazooka-like beam guns, which have to be taken care of by snipers. That's about it, the rest is easier.
  3. It's always good to make "temp" saves (short for temporary) if you think you might be screwing something up. I use the first letter of my main character's nickname, so if the guy's called, say, Jack, my "main save" is Jack and temps are J1, J2, J3... I use this system in any game involving a lot of saving.
  4. Thanks Crunch. Btw, do they ever start "manufacturing" me my own PKs or do I have to make do with what I salvage from the enemy?
  5. This is a quick one. The warehouse is in an underground bunker. There are four Panzerkleins in there. Any possibility I could leave with the PKs on? Leave button doesn't work underground and just says I'm missing a clue, though according to the objectives list, I'm not. Can't get the PKs up the ladders either... Thanks for reading.
  6. thanks a lot guys, this put my mind at rest! i did get british reinforcements, guess one of the allies was scripted to use the radio. sadly, though, half of them were blown up by mines! :twisted: what was funny was that the officer went on to call them little girls for finding mines to step on!!! thanks again!
  7. This one is an Allies mission from the early part of the game. It's a kind of a puzzler. The only objective was to meet Dr. Philip Compton. Not finding him anywhere, I set out to kill all the germans first. Having dealt with the last one, I get an interrupt and a cutscene where my main character meets Dr. Compton. So the sub-objective "Meet Dr. Philip Compton" is marked as passed, but when I look at my objectives again, there are two more: "Neutralize the person carrying the body" ,marked as passed, and "Pick up the body" marked as failed. What does this mean? Are we talking about Compton's body and why did the game automatically fail my third sub-objective? Thanks for reading. Hope I get some help.
  8. I had this Axis mission where I had to capture an Allied scientist. At some point I managed to blow a hole in the 1st floor, revealing the cellar below. There, I saw some renegade soldiers, and oh, some fuel barrels... :twisted: So of course I shot at one of the barrels with my main char's MP-40II through the hole in the floor. They all went boom, but... a hole so huge was created in the floor that I couldn't carry the scientist up anymore! All stairs were out of reach because of the explosion... I finally settled the thing by climbing down and hitting LEAVE while my main char was carrying the scientist.
