It's the NVidia driver. (I'm pretty sure) it's too new. Try going back to an older driver. Problems with the newer NVidia drivers have been noted a bit on the official boards.
I'm happy to provide space here for you to discuss your mod, I don't thave the time these days to devote to playing/modding Silent Storm like I would love to, but people like yourselves ARE the community and that shows it's not dead yet. Now if Jowood can only promote the add-on properly we could see a big boost soon!
This sounds pretty normal, maybe a little slower than expected. It's not a FPS, so frame-rate isn't as critical. The new add-on (due soon) does have some optimisations, and runs better than the original. I suspect though, that you need to look at your overall graphics settings, and whether you have Anti-Aliasing or Anistropic filtering set at a driver level. There's quite a bit of info on tweaking your graphics settings both here and on the official Nival forums. Havea good read through, I think you'll find your solution.
This sounds familiar, I can't help you... but I am sure I heard of this problem a while back. I would suggest doing a search on the Nival forums, but NOT the technical support one, I have a feeling this predates the craetion of that forum area. Also, the NIval forums have been down a lot recently, so that may slow the responses, but usually they are pretty good.
Yep that's normal, and I found out the hard way too. If you leave the area while the 'Leave' button is still red you have failed the mission, the enemy are alerted and you can't return. It is usually still possible to continue on with the game, multiple clues exist for the game progression. Three suggestions, 1) take more ammo 2) steal the enemies ammo 3) Hand to hand combat
You can still buy Jagged Alliance 2, and there's the 'Unfinished Business' official add-on... and of course the recent 'Wildfire' mod. The original Jagged Alliance may be harder to find... but it's a great game too. My friends consider it the superior in terms of gameplay, but personally I got into JA2 more.
I remeber a lot of people expressing disapointment with the American box art. it doesn't even reflect the style of game, let alone the content. As for the uniforms, you're not the only one with a wish for more. Check out the modding forums I think you'll like Sentinels in that regard. You can just buy the outfits you want your guys to wear!
