I just have to say I think it's awsome that the Aliens give you the option to join them in controlling the biomass and live with them while you conquer the galaxy. Mad cool.

Hmm, in my game it's a small area in Asia and a small spot on Africe, and my bases cover almost all of the northern hemisphere and the south pole. Most likely because I shoot down nearly all planters that come through.
