  1. I had the same problem on 1.2 with Shift + ~ and found another post saying that Shift + @ works, and its true! Now I can cheat to my hearts content (not that I do but having the option is cool!) Also seen people having a problem with getting rid of the console, you have to click in the game window and then Shift + @ or ~ to close it again. Good luck...
  2. Deathbellows are the spawn of the devil, they can wipe out your whole team with 2 or 3 shots... But, I've found a tactic that works (killed 5 DBs with it with no damage to squad). As soon as you spot one, leg it (simple really) before you run though make sure you know exactly where it is. Set your team up as far away as you can but in line of sight (hopefully you've got some snipers!) Then get your fastest runner and run them in towards the dread creature. As soon as you spot it (your whole team should be able to see it) get your runner to run about (Don't re-cross paths as you'll walk into the "flies") and get your other guys to kill it. If you can't get far enough away another tactic is required, the semi-stealthy approach. Once you know where it is, as above, leg it (again, simple) then just call in the heavy artillery (M79, launchers and grenades) and like a big chicken hide just around the corner bombarding the area (I normally give it 8-10 shots). You can check its status, again using your fastest runner, to preserve ammo but I like to be sure! (He who fights and runs away returns to fight another day!)
  3. Well I'm on my first restart, the first time I got to the russian base mission and was slaughtered. After restarting, on v1.1a, I still see the same bugs. They're not in the tactical game either. There's the old power cell issue that everyone's noticed and the Manufacturing issue that I haven't seen yet. When you select an item to research it tells you the estimated time, the same with development. But, when you select something to manufacture it says (between the red lines) "Not Ready for Development".... As these items have already been Researched/Developed they don't need it. Most annoyingly this means that if you want to know how long it will take to manufacture items you have to start everything to see. Oh well maybe its just me!

    Snipers

 Snipers are, IMHO, essential. They'll be taking out the aliens while all the other guys are finishing their Big Pacs (we don't want product placement here now do we!) In the turnover (aliens with Sky Armour, Rocket Launchers etc, etc...) missions they rank up there with my Medic (six Medpacks and a gun if he's lucky!) Don't underestimate the power of the Sniper!
