Yes, you can do that Lord Chambers ... but where is the fun in that? have won the game with that tactic ... .. but sadly, it is very unfulfilling. So I put in more strategy and use less heavy weaponary. Sometimes it is just pure fun to have your soldier, kill with only a colt handgun than using the gattling. I love it when I get a chance to do it that way. Can you hear the reload sound? Enjoy the game, don't just play to win ... play for fun.

Ah ... I use an ATI Radeon 7500 ... I had the same problem, until I did an upgrade of my driver. Once you update it, you can change the AA to zero. There are new options that you can play with. But as far as I know, once I upgraded my driver, everything works fine. I kept the cofiguration as it was after the update , and the game worked ok. Hope this help.

To use the naturals as a way to begin the fight I think is a good idea, but to say that they are the reasons to end the biomass threat to me is not likely to happend. Based on the pattern of life on earth, I believe that the biomass will eventually be just integrated into the normal flows of evalution on earth, yet they will never be dominant for long. As the new breeds of fauna and floras come to being and addept to the biomasses charactheristics as well as its weaknesses. The biomass is too much as bully to earth, and like all bullies, they will be put in place eventually through time. How do you like my explanations? I love the idea of the 50 year old war. I think it is a probable arc in the whole AM story line. As I said before, your work does not need to be faithful to Altairs version of aftershock. Who knows, maybe after they read ur work, they might just adapt it over and use it ... ... I am really restless in waiting for your new piece. Buzz me if you really need any help. this is my two cents on the story arches. I have tried numerous times to write something about AM but always failed miserably. But I do have some ideas on what I hope to write. Hope you can get something from it and make it your own.

The above is the kind of world I imagined man will go through, of course the last part is my own personal hope that man will eventually change as a whole, because I too am a dreamer. Maybe that is why I play RPG games so much, so that I could live my dream in a world that only exists in my mind. I was thinking how man as a whole will be? Will we still be the same, where the council is still the same kind that will fight for power? Where the lower ranks are still hidden from their the higher ups ambition to be king? I was thinking that what you have wrote be a prelude to a longer story. Where it all began. Start a new characther, someone with less background known, someone which you can built on. A story of struggle, romance and betrayal ... ... where the win might not always be what we expect it to be. But that is totally up to you of course. I would love to help proof read your work (just so I get a first read) and maybe give you some suggestions. Even though UFO:AM is a combat simulation, the stories talking about it, need not be combat oriented. Actually, I believe the combat parts only need to be added as part of the growth of a characther, or part of the main plot line, but no more than that. Stories are about emoitions that is what I have always thought. I hope you will continue and write it. As I do find your current work interesting.

Accounting Troll, that is by far the best AfterMath Fic that I have read, and it makes sense. I love the way the story was told and the facts were real enough to be believable. It reminded me of some of the best UFO fics around. If only you could continue on. I am already cutting and pasting your post and putting it in my novels folder. Keep up the good work.

I am very impressed with the quality of the work. Yet, unfortunately, with the responsibility to give comments, someone might get hurt from this. So here goes. From last to first. 4. The Soldier Story. Eventhough the author is giving explanations to what happends, it is more suitable to be used within prequel to a novela rather than a short story. It lacks the emotional impact that is required. 3. Living in Aftermath Now personaly I like the concept of the story, but somehow it lacked the part of the emotions. I would love to have felt more for the people involved, being forced into positions that they dislike. 2. Barely Nothing. This ia a good story. The perspective of the person is very clear and precise, it falls into the physic of a human being in a losing war. I felt touched and could actually become part of the story. 1. Saundersville station This is by far a best short story among them. It tells the story well, and you can relate to the people involved. It also shows the background and the world in which they live in. The harsh environment, a glimpse of the soldiers world before and after. The essense of short story telling is captured well. I hope that I did not piss anyone off with my comments. I sincerly hope that they will be more fan fics available in the future.

Just out of curiousity, why is the zip file 6_3? and not 6_5? nice work. The aliens now kicks my ass every single time, so much so that I have to replay the whole game in easy ... still ... a good adrenaline rush.

Have tested it for a few days now, the only thing that I noticed is that no aliens are detected at all ... even after I have developed alien detection ... is that me? or is that a bug? I have 7 bases, all around the american continent.
